Ashli Fishman

As an outdoor enthusiast, Ashli enjoyed the beauty and adrenaline of her outdoor activities. Although these activities brought a high quality of life, she was in search of a practice that would hone intrinsic integration of mind and body. She tried her first yoga class in the summer of 2002 and immediately knew this was the perfect balance of mind, body, and spirit. Not only did yoga amplify her ability to feel grounded in nature, it also was a  compliment to restoring her physical body after strenuous exercise in the outdoors. This led to Ashli completing her first power vinyasa teacher training in 2006. For over 2 decades, she has been a dedicated student to yoga asana and philosophy, including advanced vinyasa, meditation, restorative, and prenatal yoga.  She fluidly blends breath with movement to create a powerful yoga class that caters to all skill levels. Teaching yoga has been a means to give back to the community and share her insightful experiences with her students. At True North, she teaches a prenatal yoga class that encourages women to build connection with their transforming bodies and strengthen their courageous spirit as they transition into motherhood.

Ashli is also a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Registered Nurse who works with pre & postnatal women, families, and individuals with lifestyle illnesses.
