Hello, I’m Holle. Let me introduce myself!
I am a Ayurvedic Health Counselor, 500RYT and RCYT. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have called Boise home for the past 25 years with my husband and 4 boys. I found yoga and subsequently Ayurveda after a personal health crisis. I love to share the benefits of yoga and Ayurveda with others and find joy in seeing others improve their personal health and wellbeing.
What is Ayurveda? It’s the sister science to yoga and the world’s oldest medical system known to man [5,000+ years old]. What can Ayurveda do for you?…A LOT!
The ayurvedic approach to health and wellbeing is unique and differs from western medicine in that the stewardship of good health is given back to the client themselves, empowering them to become self aware and giving them tools to align body, mind and spirit. As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor my job is to help identify the root cause of imbalances creating the disease, guide you through the process of making changes in diet and lifestyle and recommending herbal treatments and ayurvedic therapies to assist in the process of restoring health and vitality.
During a consultation, you will learn your psychophysical ayurvedic constitution known as your prakruti or dosha and your current state of imbalance or vikruti. We will co develop a plan to move you closer to your original state, restoring health and vitality. You will develop an understanding of how the food we consume and the lifestyle habits known as dinacharya all contribute to either disease or health.
While I completed general ayurvedic training, I took an in depth study in digestive health which is at the core of the ayurvedic philosophy to restore and maintain health. Training as a yoga therapist broadens my scope of assisting clients with modalities such as movement, meditation, Thai massage, foot zoning, ayurvedic therapies known as panchakarma and seasonal cleanses.
True North Yoga students receive a 20% discount to the regular consultation fee of $150, making your initial consultation just $120. It includes a 60 minute initial consultation and a 30 minute follow-up session, 4-6 weeks later.

In good health,
Ayurvedic Health Counselor, 500RYT, RCYT
